• Image of Compass

Color serigraph on 14 x 18 1/2" paper. Limited edition of 20. Printed at Coranado Studios in Austin, Texas. Compass depicts four directions of the Rio Grande Valley, each direction marking physical landmarks that contribute to the political atmosphere. North are the Northern checkpoints that cut the Valley off from the rest of Texas, South are the bridges which are points of entry for migrants, East refers to the former Tent City and detention facilities in general, and West refers to the nonsensically gapped border fence that borders along the Rio Grande river.
